STARSHINE PUPPIES

•          This document serves as an agreement between the parties described above: Megan Verdugo hereafter referred to as "the Breeder" and_______________________________hereafter referred to as “the Buyer.”

 

•    The breeder guarantees this puppy is of sound health and temperament at the time of sale.

 

•         The buyer agrees to take this puppy to a licensed veterinarian of his/her choice within 3 working days following possession for a physical examination. Should the puppy be determined to be in ill health the buyer may return the puppy for a full refund and provide a veterinarian’s statement regarding the puppy’s health.  The buyer is responsible for any and all costs incurred by these examinations.  The breeders intent is that the buyer will be 100% satisfied with his/her purchase.

 

•        This guarantee does not include bacterial or viral infections. We cannot control what your puppy comes in contact with at its new home.

 

•    Breeder guarantees that for a period of 2 years from the date of birth of puppy, the puppy will not have or develop hereditary heart defects, hip dysplasia and/or cataracts.  Buyer must have the condition confirmed by the OFA at 18 months of age.  No claim will be considered prior to 18 months of age.

 

•           In the event of unsoundness, verification from CERF and preliminary OFA must be received to determine that it is indeed a genetic problem and not the result of diet or environment. If it is so determined, the dog will be returned for a refund of purchase price or for another dog of equal value, the choice of which is to be determined by the breeder. The buyer is responsible for any and all costs incurred by these examinations.

 

•          All Puppies are sold with AKC limited registration meaning the buyer will not have breeding rights.  Awarding breeding rights is at the discretion of Starshine Puppies and is determined on an individual basis.

 

•          Buyer agrees to maintain this dog in good health.  Buyer will make sure the dog has adequate exercise, nutritious food, and necessary health care including yearly vaccinations.  

 

•          The Buyer and family shall treat the puppy in a humane and loving way at all times, and make sure that anyone temporarily caring for the puppy shall do the same.

 

•          All Puppies are sold with current vaccinations, de-worming.

 

•          AKC registration papers come with each puppy as well as continued support as long as you need advice on the care or training of your puppy.

 

•         If at any time you can no longer take care of the puppy we will gladly take it back with all registration papers and health records. No refund will be given for rehoming. 

 

•         You, the buyer, will receive a copy of these terms, conditions, and guarantee, upon the delivery of your puppy. 

 

•           By signing this agreement, you, the buyer, are agreeing to the terms, conditions and guarantee stated in this agreement.

 

•           This contract is non-transferable.  Should the Buyer relinquish ownership in the puppy for any reason, this contract is null and void.
